Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we’re asked most.

If you don’t see your question, our team is happy to help — provided it’s within the scope of what a research supplier can responsibly discuss.

Are Aphrodite Aminos peptides safe for personal use?

No. Our products are sold exclusively for in-vitro laboratory research. They are not drugs, supplements, cosmetics, or food, and are not intended for human or animal consumption. We do not provide dosing guidance and we cannot answer questions about personal protocols.

Are your peptides made in the US?

Our peptides are manufactured at audited international facilities operating under documented GMP-grade or equivalent quality systems. Each batch is inspected, third-party tested, packed, and shipped from our US fulfillment center. Aphrodite Aminos is a US-based company.

How do I know what I’m receiving is what’s on the label?

Every batch is independently tested by an ISO-accredited laboratory for identity (mass spectrometry), purity (HPLC), and concentration. The Certificate of Analysis for your specific lot is available on the product page and through our public COA Lookup tool.

Why is Aphrodite Aminos focused on women’s health?

Because only 1% of biopharma R&D focuses on female-specific conditions, and only 2.3% of venture capital investment for health research is directed to women’s health. PMOS, perimenopause, endometriosis, and the female-predominant autoimmune conditions are dramatically under-studied at the molecular level. We exist to support the labs and researchers working on those questions.

What is PMOS, and why do you use that name instead of PCOS?

PMOS — Polycystic Metabolic-Ovarian Syndrome — is the updated name being adopted by clinicians and researchers to more accurately reflect the metabolic nature of the condition, rather than centering it on cyst morphology. We use PMOS in our research collections in alignment with that updated terminology.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time we ship within the United States. International shipping is under evaluation; subscribe to our newsletter for updates.

How are shipments packaged?

Discreet, unbranded outer packaging. Cold-chain packaging with ice packs is included where compound stability warrants. Tracking and optional signature-on-delivery available at checkout.

What’s your return policy?

Because of the nature of research materials, we cannot accept returns of opened or temperature-compromised product. If your order arrives damaged, mislabeled, or in any way inconsistent with the COA, contact us within 7 days for replacement or refund.

Do you offer wholesale or institutional accounts?

Yes. Universities, research institutions, and qualifying labs are encouraged to apply for a wholesale account with NET terms via our Wholesale & Lab Accounts page.

Are payment methods discreet?

Charges appear under a neutral merchant descriptor and should be tracked internally for adequate accounting. We accept major credit cards, ACH for institutional accounts, and approved cryptocurrencies.

How do I verify I’m a qualified researcher?

At checkout, you confirm that you are at least 21 years of age, that you are purchasing for laboratory research only, and that you accept the Research-Use-Only Disclaimer. Institutional buyers may be asked to provide additional documentation.

Research-Use-Only Notice. All products sold by Aphrodite Aminos are intended for in-vitro laboratory research only. Not for human consumption, in-vivo administration, veterinary use, food, drug, cosmetic, or household applications. Products are not approved by the FDA for any therapeutic use.
